When Alex dreamed of her wedding as a little girl she imagined it in the beautiful gardens of her parents house in Ashby Cum Fenby, so of course when she got engaged this was her ideal wedding.
Alex’s wedding was based on a grown up version of the flower fairies, her favourite childhood book, with the stunning country side, candles and the beautiful tipi’s by the Tipi Tribe.
Wearing a beautiful dress from Maria Modes in Macclesfield.
Hair by Sharon Queen Bridal hair.
Treasured Bouquets hosted a flower workshop with the bride and her friends the day before so they created together the rustic flowers for the tipi, church and the stunning bouquet, their work is amazing!
The wedding service was held at the lovely St Peter’s church, with the groom and grooms men bringing a strong, uniformed appearance. I loved the exit from the church and the wonderful red uniforms.
The tipi tribe set up the amazing tipi on the grounds of Alex’s mothers house with the wedding breakfast by Spitting Pig and the pizzas in the evening was Mr & Mrs Pickwicks.
Alex on her wedding,
“I was lucky to marry a man in uniform which brought some formality to a beautiful country garden. I suppose it’s another girls dream to be whisked away by a man in uniform.”
