Couples often ask me if they really need an engagement photo shoot? And if there is some form of discount for not having one (there isn't) All my wedding bookings get a complimentary engagement photo shoot but the true purpose of this shoot is a 'getting to know you exercise.' I'm well aware that wedding photography is a huge investment. Sometimes costing more than the dress! So it's important that I get to know you before your big day so I can understand how you work as a couple.  Some couples are very loving...

Kayleigh and Ali were married at The Poachers Country Hotel, Boston.  The brides dress was from The Ivory Room in Woodhall Spa with the pastel colour bridesmaids dresses coming from ASOS. We began the day in the salon with make up by Stacey (Cherries Coningsby) and hair by Simone. Kayleigh said about her day, "My tip would be to plan and organise everything as soon as you can so your not ruining around stressed so you can enjoy the build up. I did a lot of the table decorations and venue decorations myself. So planning time...

Ellie & Leyton were married at the beautiful Red Barn Norfolk in November. The Red Barn is a stunning venue and fitted this couple perfectly, Leyton a lighting engineered, picked this lovely venue with its gorgeous natural light and twinkling bokeh lights. We fell in love with the barn as soon as we walked inside! Richard and his extended family made us feel very welcome! He shared a lot of information and various wedding ideas. We always knew we wanted to get married in a barn, this one was perfect! - Ellie. The Bride...

From the beginning to the end of this wedding, the entire event was planned, designed and implemented by the lovely bride & groom right down to the venue being the beautiful childhood home of the bride, Emma. This was what made the wedding so special, this was where her mother and father celebrated their wedding and even her sister, too. The theme was bright, colourful and fresh and their was so many fun moments. ...

Alison and Darren were married in Gunby Hall & Gardens, located outside of Skegness, Lincolnshire. Despite the earlier rain the day turned out stunning. I was so happy to be apart of their happy day, which was all about their close family, friends and their lovely children (who I have to say are a true credit to their parents) The day began in the quaint cottage around the corner from Gunby Hall with hair and make up by Vicky, at The Salon, Skegness. The dress, a beautiful detailed number with belt detail added by the...

Alex and Adam were married at St Jame's Church on April 25th 2015. The bride wore a custom made long flowing vintage gown, with a gorgeous floral head piece which she designed & produced herself. The groom wore a tweed suit as did his groomsmen. The weather did hinder some of our outdoor shots but we were able to find a nice sheltered spot in the church archway which made for some stunning bride & groom portraiture. The reception was at Hubbert's Bridge Community Hall, a tasty hog roast, photo booth and  band...

This year has been fantastic for me in terms of venues and styles of weddings. I seem to have been all over the county of Lincolnshire from the amazing Hemswell Court, Lincoln, The Granary Barn Boston, Allington Manor nr Grantham and many more. I've had small, intimate weddings and beautiful busy action packaged weddings. Capturing these moments has been amazing for me and reaffirmed how much I STILL LOVE photographing weddings. I have cut back on working so much on weddings because I welcomed my 4th baby last year but I feel...

Ruthie & Matthew were married at the Guildhall Boston, Lincolnshire followed by an informal village reception at Butterwick village Hall. The day began at Ruthie's house with make up by Kiss & Make up by Rachel Bray and hair by Caroline Ingamells - Cutting Crew. Ruthie's stunning dress was from The Bridal House Lincoln and bridesmaid's dress from the Ivory Room Woodhall Spa. The groom's & groomsmen suits came from Westland's. Ruthie's style for her wedding was classic and informal. 'Relax, follow your heart & enjoy your day' Ruthie said her tip to other...

I've been waiting all summer for a quiet moment to post this stunning relaxed, summer wedding of Natalie and Sam. There were so many beautiful, natural moments throughout the day. The day started at Nat's mums house, expecting for a showery day we were surprised to find all day sunshine. The flowers were provided by Sam's mother who owns Love Laces in Boston. The whole floral decoration inside the marquee, bouquetts and the floral archway at the church were made by Sam's mum, so I can't recommend them enough for floristry. The gorgeous cake...
