It’s been a long summer, and while on maternity leave I worked some gorgeous weddings on my allocated work days.
This wedding however stands out in my mind as one of the hottest, most beautiful and certainly a unique experience.
Rea had long planned to have her teepee wedding which was a secrete to her guests. The teepees were all decorated by the bride and her mother, I have never seen such an eye for detail (and half wonder if Rea should be a wedding planner) for her custom made bride / bridesmaids coat hangers (cleverly made by her husband to be Chris) to her self made flowers which were truly stunning and unique!
The teepees were breath taking and Rea wanted them to be the backdrop for her group shots. With a lovely BBQ as their wedding meal, followed by garden games and beautiful bride and groom portraits in the gardens and fields surrounding her venue.
Everything about Rea’s day was special and beautiful but mainly, the bride and groom were very welcoming and inviting and made me feel like a guest rather than a photographer, their down to earth nature and fun spirits really made for some stunning photographs.
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I did taking them!
